Maybelline Colossal Super Black Kajal Review

Do you remember your first ever makeup product which led you to this whole new beautiful world of makeup and beauty? It was a Kajal for me. And ever since i started using it , it became a part of my everyday routine. Indian girls and Kajal’s can never go wrong.

Maybelline India has come up with a yet another new launch in the market. After the Fit Me Range for the face, they launched a new eye product – Maybelline The Colossal Kajal Super Black.

Product Description

New Maybelline Colossal Kajal Super Black – It gives you a 2X blacker look in one smooth stroke that stays intense for up to 16 hours!

My Experience

The actual Kajal comes in a black twist-up pencil form with yellow detailing. It looks bold and I feel that the packaging is quite improved than their older one. The twist mechanism works nicely and it is travel friendly. But they have increased their price from INR 175 to 300.

When i first swatched it on my hands, i was surprised with its creamy texture and intense black colour. It is very soft and smooth on application. Also, glides on very easily without much effort. Talking about the 2X Black colour, yes it is much black in colour than the older colossal and other Kajal’s in the market.

On one swipe it doesn’t give that 2X Black colour but on 2-3 application it is a Super black intense colour with a matte finish. (I just applied one single swipe in the photographs attached.)

Its stays for a good 8 hours on my waterline and for almost 10 hours on my eyelid and after that it starts to fade away a little. But what I noticed is that it did not create any mess around my eye area like usually what the other Kajal’s do.

At the time of removing the makeup, I noticed that it didn’t come off using a face wash and on using a makeup remover wipe, I had to literally struggle with it for almost 15 seconds. The next time I discovered that its best to use baby oil in order to remove it from the eyes easily, so that makes it waterproof and smudge proof.

It retails for INR 300/- for a product size of 0.35 gm and you get it online and well as at the Maybelline stores. Overall,  would highly recommend all you girls to try out this Kajal, its one of best so far. Give this is a shot, it will make you very happy; after all we all love bold black eyes.
