My Top Four Foundation Brushes

Brush 1

I must say brushes are one of the most important things in makeup application, if you have bad quality brushes, then your makeup won’t look as perfect as it could look and it usually takes even more time to do it! A flawless base is key to any makeup look and no one wants to end up with patchy, streaky looking foundation.

Over a long time of trial and error, I’ve found four foundation brushes that have withstood the test of time and performed amazingly in any and every situation.

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush (Rs. 1,299 For Set of 4 )-

This was my first makeup brush EVER. I mention this brush quite a lot, it’s a dreamy tool that I think everyone should own as it’s so versatile. It was an eye opener for me. Its shape is a cross between a buffing brush and a flat foundation brush.  Its synthetic bristles buff foundation into my skin very well. I tend to use this with heavier coverage foundations as it blends to perfection, offering a skin-like result every time.

Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki Brush (Rs. 2,732)-

Finally, my all time favourite brush – I bought this a little more than a month back and this little lovely has become my absolute favourite when it comes to foundation application. This is super densely packed and incredibly soft, so you can guarantee the most perfected finish to makeup. I use it for all bases as it makes light work of achieving a gorgeous result! If you haven’t got a Sigma kabuki brush in your stash, well, you’re definitely missing out!

BS-Mall Flat Foundation Brush (Rs. 1,099 For Set of 10)-

These are supposedly called as the Sigma dupes. This face brush is fairly dense and makes sure that the foundation is blended in no time. This brush comes in a set of 10 brushes easily available on Amazon and is quite affordable priced as well. I’d recommend this brush to makeup newbies especially. You’ll love it.

Vega PB 11 Buffer Brush (Rs. 850)-

Applying foundation with this gives me the feeling of an airbrush kind of finish. It has fairly soft bristles and comes in a duo fibre design which blends the foundation like a dream. This is the brush that I reach out to when I’m in a rush. The price is good, if you compare to MAC or Inglot.
