I have been on the hunt to find the perfect drugstore mascara for so long. I have been trying and testing a theoretically large amount of mascaras, that help me achieve that “almost fake eyelashes” look.
ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Today I will talk about the Kiko Extra Sculpt Volume Mascara and how it performed on my lashes. This mascara comes in both waterproof and non-waterproof versions, I chose to get the non waterproof one.
The packaging is modern and has a unique design. The brush is an hourglass shape, which I never experienced before in mascara. The wand is even more unusual with thick bristles that vary between long at either end and short in the middle. I much prefer wands with bristles than those with plastic spikes so this was very promising from the start. Application is easy as 1-2-3 and the brush reaches even the smaller lashes due to its shape.
The Kiko Extra Sculpt Volume Mascara is priced at Rs. 1,050.
The formula is thick, creamy and blackest of black. Kiko claim that this mascara is a volumising one for fuller looking lashes and a panoramic effect. I don’t know about the panoramic effect, but it really lengthens my lashes and more than that, it’s essentially a volumnising mascara. I have been using it on a daily basis and I am absolutely addicted.
The formula, which is neither too wet nor too dry, stays put on my lashes for about 8 hours without neither smudging nor flaking. Yet, it is easy to remove at the end of the day.
I will show you a picture of my eyelashes before and after. As you can probably tell, BOOOOOM! They are dramatic! Aren’t they?
If you’re looking for drama, you are absolutely at the right place. Which is your favorite mascara?
