Kurta’s are an essential clothing item in practically every Indian women’s closet. And why shouldn’t it be! Be it Diwali, Holi, Rakhee, your best friend’s wedding or even a little-known acquaintance’s wedding, we all need a Kurta. What I’m wearing is an edgy silhouette to amp up my look. Honestly, I’m always looking for ways to make my Indian wear look different and stand out from the rest. Hence this particular look!
But more importantly, even after having shopped incessantly, do you still feel dissatisfied with you’re wearing or your choice of clothes? Well I certainly do, which is why I decided to get a custom made Indo-western piece for myself.
I am a sucker for blue color, so ofcourse, it had to be! Its an asymmetrical kurta with a slim style pants. The suit right there that you see has been made out of my mom’s old sari (Dancing moment). I got this made by my designer Jaama in NFC. Jaama is a young & upcoming brand which brings together traditional techniques and modern silhouettes to creates pieces to cherish! I paired the outfit with my ivory emroidered jutti’s bought from Amritsar and wanting to keep it minimal, I just wore a sleek choker pendant from Divawalk.
Are you wardrobe ready for the ongoing festive season?
